On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Chef Vijay Sadhu invites diners into a rare and intimate culinary moment with a one-night-only Supper Night in Plano, Texas. Designed as a shared tasting experience rather than a traditional dinner service, the evening unfolds as a carefully paced journey through bold spices, layered textures, and globally inspired flavors—each course composed to be savored slowly and communally.
The chef-curated tasting menu opens with vibrant vegetable preparations, beginning with Carrots & Leeks, dressed with spicy labneh, sumac, fried garlic, charmoula, Calabrian chili, and a crunchy finish of almonds and pistachios. This is followed by Tartare, a delicate salmon preparation brightened by beets, cucumber, jalapeño, fresh herbs, tamarind, sesame oil, and Himalayan rock salt. Next comes Jerusalem Artichoke, enriched with Madras garlic aioli, coconut, peanut gunpowder, and aromatic kari leaf dust.
As the menu deepens, Aubergine showcases Chef Sadhu’s command of contrast—fried eggplant paired with spicy yogurt, chana stew, crispy pita, Goan relish, aam chur, and pickled mustard. Heat and sweetness come together in King Prawn, featuring tandoori-spiced prawn with crispy okra and pear-fenugreek chutney.
The heart of the meal unfolds with Fega’ata, a saffron-scented chicken and basmati dish layered with Arabic baharat, split peas, dates, pistachios, and smoked ghee. This is followed by Koftah, served alongside mujadara, mint chutney, pomegranate, harissa, and pine nuts—deeply savory with bright, herbaceous notes. The savory progression culminates in Gosh Musakhan, where braised lamb is paired with caramelized onions, yogurt, mint, pine nuts, and taboon bread.
The evening concludes on a floral and aromatic note with Tatli, featuring Persian ice cream layered with orange blossom, rose jam, candied pistachio, almond halwa, and saffron ghee. Guests are invited to linger with rose and spice chai or coffee, served alongside a spiced cookie.
Seating is extremely limited—just five guests—making the experience intentionally personal and immersive. The dinner begins at 6:30 PM and is priced at $150 per person, inclusive of wine and a cocktail. Reservations are required and can be made by direct message or by emailing chefvijaysadhu@gmail.com.
For diners who value thoughtful cooking, meaningful conversation, and food that tells a story, this Supper Night promises an evening designed to be shared, savored, and remembered.
