Looking for authentic dishes made from Hatch chile peppers grown in New Mexico? Blue Goose Cantina is serving up fan favorite dishes and all-new items during its 21st Annual Hatch Chile Fest once the harvest begins. Not for the faint of heart, the excitement for the sweet, smoky, green peppers is for a limited time only. Hatch chile season and the Goose’s special menu typically run from the beginning of August through the end of September, depending on the weather. Once the spicy Hatch chile harvest has ended, Blue Goose Cantina ends its menu until next year.

Blue Goose Cantina Loses Lease to its Original Location on Greenville Avenue in Dallas

Peterson Management Group, the parent company of Blue Goose Cantina, announced today that it will be closing its original location, located at 2905 Greenville Avenue in Dallas, following its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration during the Pub Crawl/Block Party on Saturday, March 11, 2023, and closing blow-out the following weekend. The Greenville doors to the iconic Tex-Mex favorite will shutter on March 19. The family-owned and operated restaurant will seek a new location in the Greenville Avenue/East Dallas area while also focusing on continued growth in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, including the soon-to-be-opened Grand Prairie location, the eighth in its Gaggle.

Blue Goose Cantina Breaks Ground on Grand Prairie Location

Tex-Mex lovers will have something to look forward to in 2023, the opening of a Blue Goose Cantina in Grand Prairie, Texas. Located at 2536 West Interstate 20 off South Bowen Road, the newest location will be one of the largest Blue Goose Cantina restaurants with more than 7,700 square feet and a 300-seating capacity. It will initially employ approximately 200 team members. The restaurant will open in early 2023.
