More Chefs On The Move In Dallas

by Steven Doyle

More chef news straight from the kitchen, this time from Front Burner’s corporate chef John Franke who sends us a note that T.J. Lengnick has moved on from Whiskey Cake to take a position at Stephan Pyles. In Chef Lengnick’s place Franke has hired Scott Townend from the Park Cities latest restaurant at the Lumen Hotel’s The Front Room.

Scott Townend recently served as corporate utility chef at Culinaire International, which included working at Restorante Nicola and catering company Food Glorious Food.  Townend’s resume also includes tenures at Craft Dallas, Fire Grill in St. Lucia and Kellari Taverna in Washington DC.

Whiskey Cake is an extremely popular farm-to-table-style restaurant located in Plano that boasts an amazing cocktail program, grows their own herbs and creates some wonderful dishes that has the restaurant sitting at capacity most evenings.

Front Burner also owns Twin Peaks, Ojos Locos Sports Cantina, Velvet Taco, the Ranch at Las Colinas, and Red Dog Right.
