The 3rd Annual Hearts on the Trinity, hosted by the VolunteerNow Young Leaders Council (YLC), returns to Trinity Groves for an evening of Dallas’ best bites and beverages and a celebration of volunteerism in North Texas.  The event offers guests the opportunity to learn about giving back to the community while enjoying culinary creations from some of Dallas’ most popular eating and drinking establishments. The 2016 Hearts on the Trinity is Thursday, November 17, 6:00 to 8:00pm, at 3015 at Trinity Groves. Proceeds benefit VolunteerNow to expand volunteerism in North Texas.   Continue reading

Best Buddies Texas presents Dallas’ “Life is Sweet” , one of the city’s sweetest fundraising events you will ever encounter. Dallas area top local bakers and chefs will be paired with buddies, young adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, to create custom desserts and dishes.

Guests will be treated to samples of the dessert and dishes, and have an opportunity to vote for their favorites. To accompany the sweets and dishes, guests will also enjoy wine along with a selection of savory hors d’oeuvres.     Continue reading

Pop-Up Benefit Event This Weekend At Duo

Some of Dallas’ great culinary talents will host a tasting to assist a gentleman long standing in the Dallas restaurant industry who recently lost his sister to cancer, leaving four children in his care. A portion of the proceeds from Sunday Chef Mix will be donated to help the family.  In addition to food tastings, raffle tickets will be on sale to win gift certificates, wine and more.
