I think it is fair to say we really enjoy a good cocktail at craveDFW. Probably more so than the average human should. Imagine how we felt after receiving this huge box from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
The staff wandered around the giant box with aplomb gazing at its wonderment, then we ravished the package like it was our first Christmas. We were hoping it was a giant haunch of beef, but to our amazement it was a set of cocktail tools. Continue reading

For those considering a vegetarian diet, and what better way to shed off those few pounds, Café Brazil is offering a free meal all day tomorrow (Tuesday January 31, 2012). The offer is all day and includes vegetarian tacos, migas, veggie deluxe sandwich, vegetarian Zinfandel pasta, vegetarian omelet, and the veggie crepe.

Last week we ran a contest for a holiday dinner at the Highland Park Cafeteria. Our friends at the east Dallas cafeteria wish to spread a little more holiday joy and are offering another gift certificate which will be delivered to your mailbox directly from them.
60-year old Sally Goodman opened the cafeteria opened in 1925 at its original location at 3311 Knox Street using all her own recipes of fresh baked bread, meats and vegetables. The original location started with only 13 stools and 8 tables, but was eventually expanded and has become a Dallas institution. Continue reading
