Free Veggies This Weekend At The Dallas Farmers Market Courtesy Of Chipotle

To celebrate National Farmers Market Week, this weekend, Aug. 10 and 11, Chipotle will be at the Dallas Farmers Market until noon handing out $10 currency tokens redeemable for produce at the market to the first 250 market-goers who visit the Chipotle tent. Farmers then redeem the tokens to receive the full cash value, a win-win.

Chipotle will also be providing “Grow Your Own” cilantro seed packets and Chipotle recipe cards for classic menu items like its famous guacamole and salsa, plus a buy-one, get-one card, good for a free entrée with the purchase of any burrito, burrito bowl, salad or tacos at any area Chipotle location. Free Front Of The Line Passes To CBS Bake Off Reality Program

The CBS Baking Show is casting in Dallas this weekend, for what should be a fun and exciting time to watch. If you didn’t already submit your entry you won’t be able to participate, but you can witness the bakers in hot competition.

Grab A Grimaldi’s Pizza: Contest!

Patsy Grimaldi is a purest when it comes to pizza. Grimaldi learned the trade from his Uncle Lancieri, who trained with the man credited with opening the first pizzeria in America in 1905. Lancieri opened his own pizzeria in East Harlem in 1931, where Grimaldi started learning the art of coal brick oven pizza at the tender age of 10.

In time, Grimaldi was ready to open the first of his two pizzerias in New York. Soon the smoky taste of his coal fired brick oven pizza became a “must have” for numerous pizza lovers and celebrities alike including Frank Sinatra and former NYC Mayor Giuliani. Continue reading →
