The U.S. Air Force Band “Airmen of Note” on Tour

The United States Air Force Band’s premier jazz ensemble “The Airmen of Note” from Washington, D.C. is heading out on a 9-day community relations tour to Texas and New Mexico. The tour honors the service of Airmen both past and present, and highlights the excellence of military members working across the globe. All concerts are free and open to the public though do require tickets. Ticket information for these concerts is available online.

Inaugural DFW Italian Festival kicks off on Saturday, October 7, 2023

Two years in the making, local nonprofit DFW Italians proudly presents the inaugural DFW Italian Festival to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Italy. The one-day festival will be filled with Italian food, wine tastings, stage performances by local and national artists, arts and crafts for kids, gondola rides and more. 

Rain or shine, the festival will be held at the southeast corner of Las Colinas Blvd. and N. O’Connor Blvd. at 5220 N. O’Connor Blvd. Irving, TX 75039 on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 12 pm to 10 pm. General admission tickets start at $5 and kids 10 years old and under are free. These tickets can be purchased on their website (recommended) or in person. Parking is available in the surrounding areas. Dallas’ Beloved Zalat Pizza Is Now Taking Reservations for a Potential Stock Sale on StartEngine – We Are So In!

Crave was there at the start with Dalat when Khanh Nguyen was serving hot Pho bowls and Dragon Shots til 2am. We were there when we saw the first Zalat Pizza street sign go up next door on Fitzhugh with “Open til 4am” on it. We remember telling Khanh that it was a bold move to put 4am on the permanent street sign. His response was that he didn’t want to give himself the option to not stick to it. Dallas has followed Zalat over the past 8 years as their late-night, “luxury pizzas for the masses” concept has exploded from its original Fitzhugh location to now 29 locations across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin.

Forget “Who Killed JR?” Southfork Ranch is Killing off Guests at Inaugural Murder Mystery Dinner October 26

For one night only, Southfork Ranch becomes the estate of Sir Warren Peace. While dining there, guests will be thrown into a night of mystery, intrigue and murder they will never forget. Anyone could be the murderer, and of course, anyone could be the next victim. To play along, guests can bribe suspects for clues and gather information to uncover the unhinged guest who is whacking all the invitees. Although not required, everyone is encouraged to dress in evening finery for this classy crime scene. There will be a costume contest for the best dressed, and the winner will receive an overnight stay in the famed Southfork Ranch mansion.*
