Movember is a fundraiser that Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House participate in every year. This year, goodfriend will host a kick-off party on Saturday, November 1st and the final party Sunday, November 30th.
Co-owner Matt Tobin says, “ This year we are excited to have Ted Hoffman and FLY Barbershop involved – they have a mobile barbershop in an airstream. We will have a red carpet leading from the restaurant to their airstream. We decided that we wanted to make a bigger impact this year. Last year our team was in the top 10 in the Dallas area for raising money. Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House goes all out to support Movember throughout the month of November. Last year, the Goodfriend team raised almost $5000 and their goal is to raise even more money this year. They will put together a team consisting of employees, family, and regulars to grow mustaches to benefit the Movember movement. They have enlisted the help of The Boardroom, Breckenridge Brewery, Sailor Jerry Rum, Puro Verde Tequila, Patron, and fantastic live music.
