First Look: DeLucca Pizza & Wine

delucca1 (1)by Alex Gonzalez

Having received much traffic in its flagship Southlake location, Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine has opened its second restaurant in Dallas’ Design District. Owner and Chef Evandro Caregnato believes that Delucca’s new location is more centralized, shortening the commute of guests from various parts of the DFW metroplex.

At Delucca, guests are served pizza in gaucho fashion, in that they pay a set price and are able to try various types of pizza, similar to a churrascaria. Caregnato’s mission is to offer guests flavors from all over the world. Delucca is a one-of-a-kind cultural opportunity that everyone in Dallas must experience. Continue reading

Sitting close to the television, or getting too close to the microwave – nothing horrible will happen to you. Promise. It’s science. We are here to dispel a few other myths that mom perpetuated. Some are actually quite entertaining. Continue reading

Kent Rathbun Made a Special Pizza for the Holidays

kent pizza.jpg

Thanksgiving may be over, but that doesn’t mean you’ve got to stop eating turkey. In fact, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company would argue the opposite—and then they’d partner with one of Dallas’s best chefs to put some turkey on a pizza.

Lark on the Park Closing

Whenever a restaurant closes in Dallas it is always sad, especially when one as beautiful and as timeless as Lark on the Park. It never really was on the park, that is another restaurant, but we forgave that fact because the menu was always fresh as the chalkboard art, and as delicious as the cocktail menu that was continuously cutting edge.
