Nuri Grill, the new upscale Asian inspired steakhouse in Dallas’ Koreatown is celebrating Lunar New Year with a special featuring traditional dishes eaten during the new year. The special is $29 and is available Tuesday, January 25 – Saturday, February 5.

Fat Straws, the bubble tea concept known for its boba tea and chewy puff donuts (formerly known as mochi donuts) is featuring a limited time chewy puff donut for the Lunar New Year.
The festive red and gold donuts will be available Fridays through Sundays at all four Fat Straws locations starting tomorrow, January 17 – February 8. The donuts can also be pre-ordered in limited quantities. Continue reading

The Lunar New Year is the most important and festive celebration on the Chinese calendar. In China, it’s popular practice to eat lucky foods during the celebration, to usher in prosperity and good fortune for the coming year. February’s ‘First Wednesday’ supper features several of these lucky foods as well as other traditional Chinese dishes.
