Bad Chicken to Relocate to Ross & Henderson with Drive-Thru Winter 2023

Bad Chicken, the locally-owned fast casual chicken concept featuring an upscale chef-driven menu in an ultra casual setting with beer and wine is moving from its test kitchen in Preston Center to a permanent spot with a drive-thru at Ross & Henderson this Winter. The new location at 5014 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75206 will feature a large family-friendly patio, digital game boards in their dining room, a revamped menu, and a drive-thru that serves the same fresh, high-quality food they serve at their current location.

Malai Kitchen Builds Custom Noodle Machine and Ships to Texas

Malai Kitchen goes through plenty of noodles each day. Currently, Malai Kitchen produces 200-300 pounds of fresh noodles daily, including a special Pho noodle and wide-flat rice noodles used in signature dishes at all four locations.

The dishes are amazing, and the owners, Jasmin and Braden Wages are always improving their dishes to offer the most amazing dishes such as their assorted dishes under their Wok Fired Noodle menu which includes offerings such as their fabulous Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow with it’s wide, drunken noodles and Pad See Ew, the ever popular Chicken and Broccoli Noodles. With four locations that is plenty of noodles.

Andrew’s American Pizza Kitchen Launches Happy Hour

Andrew’s American Pizza Kitchen, the local DFW family-owned American-style pizza and pasta concept in Plano has launched a new happy hour program on Sundays through Thursdays from 2 pm to 7 pm. Andrew’s is known for their robust menu featuring Dallas Style Pizza (the style of pizza Picasso’s was known for), Chicago Style Pizza, Detroit Style Pizza, Tavern Style Pizza, and New York Style Pizza.

MOXIES Uptown Dallas Update – Renovation

MOXIES in Dallas at the Crescent was the first MOXIES in the US, opening in November of 2016. As it approaches its 7th year open, the MOXIES team is planning improvements to bring the design of the restaurant up to the standard of what they’ve been opening at their new locations across Texas, Arizona, and Florida.

 Denton County Mayoral Pizza Cook-Off Aug 23rd

Denton County mayors are vying for the best pizza creation while raising money for charities.
August 23, 2023. Location: Motor City Pizza, 1425 FM 407, Lewisville. 4:30 – 7:00pm

Each participating Mayor will be given a Detroit Style dough (or hand tossed round or gluten-free if they
prefer) with cheese already on it. The mayor’s job is to create the pizza with the toppings of their choice. Any topping that is on the menu will be available to each mayor. If a mayor would like to create something with ingredients that we do not have, we ask that mayor to bring that specialized ingredient.

There will be house marinara, our house alfredo, and other dressings and drizzles (ranch, chipotle ranch, Mike’s Hot Honey, Greek dressing, etc.). Any other sauce or dressing not on our menu, that a mayor would like to use, will be brought by them.

Pearl, a New Sushi Restaurant Near McKinney Ave and Knox St, to Open in Late Summer 2023

Pearl, a new sushi restaurant led by Chef Shine Tamaoki, will open by the intersection of McKinney Ave and Knox St. later this summer. Located at 4640 McKinney Ave., Unit 130, Dallas, TX 75205, the restaurant will offer both dine-in and takeout through a dedicated sushi window.

Shine was born in Yamanashi, Japan, a city nestled next to Mount Fuji. Growing up, he spent time in both America and Japan, visiting his dad at his horse training ranch in Colorado during summers, while heading back to Japan for school. Eventually, his dad built a ranch in Whitesboro, TX and Shine moved to North Texas to join him and attend high school.
