2022 Best Dallas Hot Dogs

Researching the history the hot dog is murkier than the water some are boiled in, but there is certainly no mistake that the wiener on a bun is a quintessential staple of ball games, circuses, amusement parks, and just about anywhere people are looking for an inexpensive and easy to eat meal.

Dallas saw an insurgence of great hot dogs a few years back but they did not seem as sustainable as the almighty burger, and many fantastic dog locations shuttered.

Shake Shack Old Town Opening May 27th

Shake Shack announced it will open the doors to its newest Dallas location on Monday, May 27th at 11 a.m. The Shack will be located at 5500 Greenville Ave, Unit #505 and will be part of the Old Town Shopping Center, right off of Greenville Avenue.

Shake Shack Opens Second Dallas Area Location

Shake Shack is one of the first restaurants to open in the mixed-used Legacy West development, a modern neighborhood destination lined with retail, dining, residential, hotels and offices. Not only is Shake Shack one of the first eateries to open at the much-anticipated development, the Plano Shack will also roll out with the Shack App, allowing guests to order their favorite Shack from their iPhone. Shake Shack Opening to Open at The Crescent in 2016

Crescent Property Services LLC today announced that Shake Shack – the modern day ‘roadside’ burger spot which began in 2001 as a hot dog cart in New York City – will open its first Dallas location at The Crescent in Uptown Dallas. The restaurant, to be situated in The Crescent’s newly proposed park area at the corner of McKinney Avenue and Pearl Street, will have indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the lushly landscaped grounds. Shake Shack is expected to open in 2016.

Shake Shack’s high-quality food at a value has resulted in a cult-like following. Founded in New York City, the brand now has several restaurants in the U.S. in cities such as Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Austin and international locations including London, Istanbul and Dubai.
