Chef Tim Love Unveils Holiday Experience, Afternoon Tea at La Lotería/Backstage Club in the Stockyards

La Lotería, Fort Worth’s premier members-only private club in the Stockyards, is set to open its doors to the public this holiday season for a special, limited-time addition to its service offerings – traditional Afternoon Tea service at the Backstage Club. Reservations are open now, with the service launching November 29, 2023. Interested guests can make reservations by calling (817) 682-5224. 

An experience typically exclusive to the club’s private members, Afternoon Tea in the Backstage Club, is now open to those in search of a unique opportunity—with limited seating available through reservation only.

Chef Matt McCallister & Local Favorite Restaurants Group Open UnaVida Restaurant in Dallas’ West Village Today

UnaVida, a modern Mexican concept created by Dallas-based Local Favorite Restaurants specialty division is now open in Dallas’ original walkable mixed-use development, West Village. 

Opened to the public today and located at 3699 McKinney Avenue, Suite 307 in the former Taco Diner space, Una Vida’s menu was created by Executive Chef of New Concept Development, Chef Matt McCallister (Homewood, FT33).

African American Museum presents “Christmas Music Under the Dome and Marketplace”

Celebrating Black artists, businesses and local music, the annual “Christmas Music Under the Dome and Christmas Marketplace” will take place Saturday, Dec. 9, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the African American Museum, Dallas. The Museum is located at 3536 Grand Ave., Dallas, 75210, in historic Fair Park.

Free and open to the public, the holiday extravaganza will offer visitors a variety of unique “shop local” gifts – including handcrafted jewelry, accessories and more – plus a children’s craft area and performances by North Texas musicians and school groups. Visitors will also have an opportunity to view two acclaimed exhibitions that recently debuted in conjunction with Deep Ellum’s 150th anniversary.
