Del Frisco Adds Fresh Ideas to Lunch Menu

While Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is one of America’s most luxurious restaurants to have dinner, they also have a great lunch menu filled with delicious light bites. On both weekdays and weekdays, guests of Del Frisco’s can choose from a selection of entrees less heavy than steaks, but equally as hearty and filling.

During lunch, Del Frisco’s offers the same cocktails as they do at dinner, however, the addition of the Mai Tai makes for a sweet, coconut-flavored Hawaiian spirit. Additionally, the Honey Bourbon cocktail is airy and lemon-y, with the aftertaste of a gummy candy. Continue reading

Kuai: No Fryers, No Microwaves, Just Fresh Asian Cuisine

The word “kuai” is a Mandarin word for “quick,” and Kuai’s Dallas Parkway storefront encompasses all things quick. At Kuai’s first ever brick and mortar outpost, Founder Jeff Hancock and crew work hard to keep the customers happy, by way of providing a fresh, clean space where lovers of Asian cuisine can dine on healthy and inexpensive food, all of which is prepared and delivered quickly.

Kuai first opened in 2006 in the form of a food court stall at Republic Tower. Hancock had been looking at food truck options in Houston, however, the city of Houston didn’t have the appropriate means or permits for food trucks. He and his brother took note from one of his favorite dumpling shops and later decided on downtown Dallas as the first location. Continue reading

Margarita Meltdown 2019

This past Sunday, Margarita Meltdown celebrated nine years of showcasing the best of the Dallas hospitality industry’s margaritas. This year’s festival took place along Dallas’ Historic West End, where 30 of Dallas’ best restaurants and bars competed for the title of Best Margarita. Each of those one-ounce ramekins packed a powerful, unique punch, with no two samples tasting alike, however, only one would take the title of Dallas’ Best Margarita. Continue reading

San Martin Offers Delicious Guatemalan Pastries And Much More

For its U.S. debut, San Martin Artisan Bakery & Restaurant has opened up shop in uptown Dallas. Located in an old gallery, San Martin’s Dallas outpost boasts over 7,800 square feet and a menu of authentic Guatemalan sandwiches, soups and pastries.

Everything on San Martin’s menu is made from scratch, with dressings, sauces and soups all made in-house. Apart from their full-service restaurant, San Martin also has retail bakery, where guests can purchase pastries, bread, coffee and tea to carry out. Continue reading

North Italia Opens May 1 Downtown Dallas

Downtown Dallas is quickly becoming a place where people can work, live and play, and the new additions coming to The Union are able to accommodate all of those functions. Dallas is clearly never short on good places to eat, however, with the additions of Tom Thumb, Tacolingo, The Henry and North Italia in The Union, downtown offers more ease of access to employees who want to grab dinner with colleagues after work, or residents who want to step out of their apartments to grab drinks without paying hefty Uber surge fees.
