Social House Hits the Mark

Finding a really well crafted cocktail in Addison can be a bit precarious at best. There are a few hidden labyrinths for drinks including either of the Richard Chamberlain restaurants on Belt Line and now, as it would seem, Social House.

Checking in to check out Social House just a few months after opening we found a pretty damned good chicken fried steak. So good we included it on our list of top favorites in the city. But a more recent visit we enjoyed much more. Continue reading →

Abraham Salum on Tamales

We are knee deep into the holiday season. For restaurateurs this is the busiest time of year as they cater parties and enjoy increased traffic. This is also the height of tamale season, so we set out to find some of the city’s best tamales and share our findings with you over the next few weeks.

Chef Romano Resigns at Charlie Palmer

Chef Scott Romano will be leaving Charlie Palmer at the Joule (we consider one of the best in Dallas) to work as a personal chef and eventuially will pursue his dream to open a restaurant in the Dallas area with the assistance of Charlie Palmer himself.
