Birdie’s Eastside is debuting Live Music Tuesdays, a weekly series spotlighting talented musicians from East Dallas. This exciting addition will kick off on Tuesday, October 29, with performances tailored to create a lively community experience in the heart of the neighborhood.

The series opens with Ryan Berg, a local favorite and contestant from Season 19 of The Voice. Following on November 5The Party Crowd Duo takes the stage, featuring East Dallas’ own Taylor Young of The O’s fame, delivering a unique set of 80’s country covers.

New “Neighborhood Gathering Place” from Jon Alexis, Birdie’s Eastside, to Open in East Dallas, Early Winter 2023

Birdie’s Eastsidethe newest concept from Jon Alexis’ Imperial Fizz Hospitality, will open in early Winter 2023. Alexis purchased the 2.2 acre former Luby’s space “with the intent of building something that will serve East Dallas families for many years.” 

Imperial Fizz’s neighborhood-driven projects have grown in size and ambition in a decade-long rollout of popular Dallas concepts -TJ’s Seafood, Malibu Poke, Escondido Tex Mex, Ramble Room. Birdie’s Eastside continues that trajectory – a large-scale bar & grill uniquely designed for East Dallas.  Birdie’s Eastside takes advantage of the former Luby’s sheer size, offering an indoor capacity of 250+ and a 7,000 square foot patio
