First Look: British Beverage Company (Food Photos)

In the former digs where Hully and Mo’s resided in the Dallas Uptown area, The British Beverage Company is nearly open and like most restaurants, it is slightly late to its own party.  Look for a very soft opening tomorrow evening, Thursday, November 1, 2012 with the official opening November 5.

We had the very first official look into the pub and was excited to see so much work went into the finish out, and that it didn’t look like a cheesy British Invasion. There are plenty of muted nods to the mother country, but they are well placed and not over-the-top.  Continue reading

BBC Close To Opening And We Snagged A Menu

Located next to the Quadrangle on Routh Street in Uptown Dallas, the BBC, or British Beverage Company, will swing its doors open wide to the public October 29, 2012. October will prove to be a busy month for restaurant openings, and we are eager to grab one of the first pints to pour from this pub.

Sporting 50 taps along with 100 bottles of beer, the BC should prove to be a welcome addition to the pub landscape in North Texas. There is also promise of a kicked up cocktail program and a selection of 45 wines and bubbles. Continue reading

British Uptown Invasion

The British Beverage Company is slated to open this Fall in Uptown Dallas at 2800 Routh Street in the Quadrangle. The menu will feature fish and chips, craft cocktails, 50 beers on tap and over 100 bottles.

The new British style pub is owned by Larry Martin and Edgar Carlson, and will be cheffed by Jason Hice who comes to us from Nana in the Anatole and several restos in New York.               Continue reading
