One of the best jobs going at the fair this year (besides the voice of Big Tex) is without a doubt that of the food judge. These are the people that come in each week to review the large variety of cakes, pies, candy and a whole host of categories.

A garden of Eden lies within the city, nestled in a cozy, quiet nook on W. Lovers Lane. Outside hangs a ceramic sign adorned with beautiful flowers with “Eden” written in a bright sunny yellow. Yet with the brutal heat we’ve been having, somehow the flowers still bloomed strong, the grass a plushy green and upon entering you feel as if you’ve just returned home. In the heat of the Rally moment, we are sincerely looking forward to what will probably be a mob scene at the Greenville Avenue Sigel’s Saturday night.
There has been plenty of tongue wagging in the blogosphere concerning the Dallas Food Truck Rally, certainly we are included in that feeding frenzy.
