Fletcher’s Corny Dogs to Open Permanent Location at Klyde Warren Park

Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs will become the first-ever “permanent” food truck in Klyde Warren Park (KWP). Visitors to the Park will find them stationed on the East Lawn, opposite of Food Truck Lane, by the soon to be revealed Nancy Best Fountain. The Fletcher’s truck will sell all six varieties of Corny Dogs, Seasoned Curly Fries and Lemonade. The new truck is being specially designed and branded and will make its debut later this Fall to coincide with the official opening of the new fountain at KWP. Until then, FCD will make special appearances at select KWP events with one of the brands mobile trailers.

Happy Hour: The Whiskey Sour

The key to an excellent whiskey sour is getting the balance just right. This whiskey sour recipe has all the right proportions of bright, bracing lemon juice; warming, floral bourbon; and sweet simple syrup to deliver a refreshing cocktail that’s neither too cloying nor too biting.

Using freshly squeezed juice is essential—the stuff that comes out of fruit-shaped squeeze bottles doesn’t even compare. If you don’t have any lemon on hand, you can swap it out for lime (or a mixture of the two). Serve on the rocks with an orange wheel and a maraschino cherry.

The Whippersnapper Unveils New Game of Thrones Pop-Up Event- WHIPPERFELL 

The Whippersnapper, popular This and That Hospitality  bar concept located on Henderson Avenue. The Whip will go “beyond the wall” for renovations for their sixth iteration of the creative and interactive themed pop-up event, WHIPPERFELL, that will start on August 25 and running through October 15, for a limited time.  In anticipation of the upcoming new series House of the DragonWHIPPERFELL will focus on the world-renowned television series that introduced us to the mythical land of Westeros and the epic fight for power, Game of Thrones.

Making Infusions with Tito Beveridge

The Tito’s story started in a mason jar.

Back in the day, before perfecting his own pot-distilled spirit, before building a distillery was even a far-off dream, Tito created homemade vodka infusions. Every time a holiday or housewarming came along, he’d buy the cheapest vodka off the shelf. Then he’d pick up a few fresh ingredients, toss them in a jar, fill it up with his liquor store haul, and craft his own infusions to give as gifts. Sure, he was broke, but he knew how to make people smile with spirits and wouldn’t let a price tag stop him.
