Guests will enjoy a European-themed lunch featuring soup and other delicacies from 20+ of North Texas’ finest restaurants. Attendees can select a handcrafted bowl featuring the talents of Texas artists and potters as a memento of the day.   Continue reading

2017 Restaurant Week Results

The delicious results are in for last summer’s big 20th Anniversary DFW Restaurant Week. The August 2017 campaign raised nearly $796,000 for its charity partners the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope. This represents DFW Restaurant Week’s top annual fundraising to date, thanks to the diners, restaurants and sponsors who loyally enjoyed 20+ days of dining out and doing good for the community. The campaign is gratefully recognizing top restaurants for their exemplary fundraising and participation with the announcement of its 20th Anniversary DFW Restaurant Week Star Restaurant Awards.  Continue reading

Restaurant Week Gearing Up Aug 3rd

During the DFW Restaurant Week campaign in August, diners can experience a different scene and cuisine each day as they select from more than 130 restaurants across the Metroplex offering delicious three-course prix fixe dinners for either $39 or $49.  Many restaurants will also offer the DFW Restaurant Week Cadillac Lunch, featuring two-course lunches for just $20. Twenty percent of each meal purchased will be donated to one of the charity partners, NTFB or Lena Pope. Some great deals are to be found on the list, and this is a terrific way  to check out some restaurants you haven’t been to yet for whatever reason. Taste of the NFL Ultimate Tailgate Party a Delicious Success

The Taste  of  the  NFL:  The  Ultimate  Dallas  Cowboys  Tailgate  Party has  provided more  than  two  million  meals  to  hungry  North  Texas  children  since  its  inception  in  2005,  by  raising  vital  funds  for the  North  Texas  Food  Bank’s  more  than  1,000  feeding  and  education  programs.  Every  $1  donated  provides  3 meals  for  hungry  North  Texas  children  and  100  percent  of  the  event  proceeds  help  distribute  food  through  the  Food  Bank’s  300  member  agencies  in 13 counties and through the Food 4 Kids backpacks,  Kids  Café,  and  School Pantry  programs.

Dallas Cowboys, past and present, Abacus chef and proprietor Kent  Rathbun, and more than a dozen of the area’s hottest celebrity chefs assembled Sunday evening to take part in  the 10th anniversary celebration benefiting NTFB  children’s feeding programs.    Continue reading
