This & That Hospitality partners and veteran restaurant/bar operators, Brandon Hays & Phil Schanbaum, have been diligently working to resurrect the popular concept that was once a destination for locals, celebrities, and visitors alike. Sfuzzi will offer approachable but upscale dinner options as well as energetic late-night programming in a stylish and lively atmosphere. Weekend brunch will also be available in the coming weeks.

Zalat Pizza, the cult-favorite pizza concept, is opening their first Allen location on March 7th at 950 W. Stacy Rd, Allen, TX 75069 on the corner of Stacy Rd and Watters RdIn keeping with Zalat’s typical business model, this new location will strictly serve takeout through Zalat’s website or delivery via third party delivery apps.

Zalat is rapidly expanding its footprint within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with this location marking the 17th Zalat location in North Texas.

Fort Worth Ghost Kitchen

Innovative Chef Lanny Lancarte announced today that Fantasma Kitchens has launched Pizza Zapasta and El Pollo Tocayo. The kitchen is located on the footsteps of Fort Worth’s trending North Side, joining Lancarte’s first all-delivery concept, Eat Fajitas, the fiesta delivered to your door. All three concepts will be located under a singular roof inside a renovated Methodist Church.

Fantasma Kitchens (fantasma defines as ghost in Spanish), will be Lancarte’s second venture into the ghost kitchen movement and completes his trio of food concepts. Eat Fajitas, El Pollo Tocayo, and Pizza Zapasta will be available “ghost-style,” served to customers in to-go and delivery options available within the Fantasma Kitchens app.

Sylvan Avenue Tavern Announces Opening in West Dallas

Sylvan Avenue Tavern (SAT) sailed smoothly through its first official opening week at Sylvan Thirty, bringing its signature take on artisan pizza and a wide menu, along with craft beer, a full bar, tavern games like pool and pinball, and a shaded rooftop patio that overlooks downtown Dallas. 

A sibling to the popular Bryan Street Tavern (BST), SAT plans to inspire the same devotion in locals, enticing people to enjoy a true neighborhood tavern experience with a varied scratch-made menu featuring Readers Choice for Best Pizza in DFW,” salads, wings, sandwiches and pastas. The bar is more than just cold beer—there is a thoughtfully curated selection of craft cocktails with premium spirits and a bar staff who aims to please. TVs adorn most walls making SAT an ideal place to catch a game. SAT is the only restaurant/bar in the area with a late-night kitchen open until 2AM.

OLIVELLA’S PIZZA AND WINE SHOP EXPANDS OFFERINGS AND HOURS TO INCLUDE LATE NIGHT PIZZA CARRYOUT AND DELIVERY

Olivella’s Pizza and Wine Shop, Dallas-Fort Worth’s critically acclaimed Roman and Neapolitan pizza kitchen, is launching late-night weekend hours for carryout and delivery. Starting August 13, on Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m. in Dallas and midnight in Fort Worth, Olivella’s can be picked up or delivered. 

It is also augmenting its already-robust pizza offering to include Detroit-style pizza as a late-night-only option at its Camp Bowie location in Fort Worth. Building on its legacy of century-old recipes from one of Naples, Italy’s oldest pizza families, the nationally recognized traditional Italian pizzeria is creating a unique Detroit-style pizza using beloved old-style Italian flavors. Detroit pizza, which features sauce on top of the pie and a thicker, rectangular crust, will only be available during late-night shifts via Olivella’s delivery or third-party delivery in Fort Worth. It will be available at the restaurant’s Dallas locations later this fall.

Zalat Pizza Expands Their DFW Footprint with Three New Locations Opening Between July and September

Zalat Pizza, the cult-classic pizza concept developed by Khanh Nguyen, announces plans to open three more locations in the DFW area between July and September with openings in South Arlington, Irving and another Dallas location

South Arlington will open at 5415 S. Cooper St, Suite 117, Arlington, TX 76017 on Monday, July 19Irving will open at 4835 N. O’Connor Rd, Suite 136, Irving, TX 75062 in late August, and the newest Dallas location will open at 11613 North Central Expressway, Suite 111, Dallas, TX 75243 in late September. The three new locations will strictly serve takeout through Zalat’s website or delivery via third party delivery apps.

Zalat is rapidly expanding its footprint within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and these locations will put Zalat’s store count at 15.

Also in early August, the pizza brand plans to open a smaller footprint location at The Exchange Hall located in the AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas offering a new take on their traditional concept. Going by the name Zalat Slices, the location will exclusively serve pizza by the slice, a first for any of Zalat’s stores.
