Facebook just announced that they are going in cahoots with OpenTable that will enable you to make reservations via your smartphone at 20,000 restaurants in North America. You will be able to make these reservations without leaving the Facebook app, a move that places the social media giant in direct competition with Yelp which also has an integration with OpenTable for reservations. Make your reservations now for Restaurant Week by checking out the official guide that details all the menus, prices ($35 or $45), and length of participation. Some of the restaurants will begin with a preview weekend, and could continue from August 12 through September 2. The entire event is the largest fundraiser for both North Texas Food Bank in Dallas or Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth.
