Last month I checked out this delightful program at the The MAC, located at 3120 McKinney Ave. and was thrilled. Oral Fixation is about story telling and includes people from all backgrounds with diverse stories. Tonight is the final night of the season and you need to check this out.
CraveDFW contributor and writer Steven Lindsey said it best: “It’s the perfect night of live theater: Nothing but a bare stage, a bar stool and regular people’s real stories — all taking up little more than an hour. Nicole carefully selects submissions and assembles the show to take the audience on an emotional journey. Houston-based performance and installation artist Daniel-Kayne has an exhibition coming to Dallas this Saturday! In celebration of Earth Day, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary Art Space is pleased to present three new exhibitions featuring the works of Daniel-Kayne, Billy Hassell and Carol Selter. An opening reception with the artists will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The MAC galleries, located at 3120 McKinney Avenue, in the Uptown District of Dallas.
