What does a $25,000 Single Malt Taste Like?

Only 50 bottles of Glenfiddich 50 Year Old are available worldwide this year; only six in the U.S. It is one of the rarest and most precious expressions of authentic Single Malt Whisky ever released by Scotland’s most distinguished distillery. The limited edition bottle, which retails for $25,000 – $27,000, will be available to taste for $1,500 per person. The once-in-a-lifetime experience, presented by 1919, noted as one of San Antonio’s most prestigious mixology establishments showcasing over 400 spirits, will be held on Wednesday, September 4th starting promptly at 7:00 p.m. Continue reading →

Club 1801 Pop Up Club This Week

Located at 8090 Olive Street in Downtown Dallas, The 1801 Club is a pop up club where you can taste the newest Chivas offering-Chivas 18, a blend of 20 different single malt scotches. There are four Perfect Serve tastings this week-Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27.

The tastings start at 6PM and 8PM. The Club 1801 Finale is on Monday, March 4 starting at 7 PM and ending at 10 PM. All events require a RSVP. Please visit the special website to learn more about the Chivas Brotherhood, The 1801 Club and to RSVP for the events.

The Wienermobile Makes Its Way To Dallas

At each stop you will find two of the twelve current Oscar Meyer Hotdoggers, and honorable position for a select few recent college graduates who make their way across the country in the garish all-beef behemoth mobile, which at any given siting will make you grin wide with the excitement of a schoolchild. Scotch, Scotch, Scotch, We Love Scotch

On a recent visit to Second Floor located on not-the-first floor of the Westin Galleria in Dallas we were enamored by the amazing wall of Scotch that adorned the back bar. Owned by amazing chef Scott Gottlich of Bijoux fame, the restaurant is execu-cheffed by Joel Harloff. We have the low down on that new menu coming up soon, along with the cocktail menu that is also fresh and enticing.
