Oscar’s Taco House in San Antonio is Closing

One of San Antonio’s most famous taco spots is preparing to close its doors for good. After serving the city’s Southwest Side since 1962, Oscar’s Taco House will shut down permanently this summer to make way for a new city bridge. This is one of the best restaurants for the famed puffy taco.

Fans of the iconic restaurant still have a little over a month to stop by for one last plate of puffy tacos—their final day of service is June 28.
