Norma’s Cafe Moves Into Frisco

Attention all chicken fried steak and pie lovers in Frisco, Norma’s is moving into the neighborhood. Norma’s Café has leased a 3,884-square-foot space at The Centre at Preston Ridge shopping center in Frisco, Texas. This will be the third North Dallas location for Norma’s Café and the first location in Frisco. It is located on Gaylord Parkway, north of Highway 121 and less than one mile east of Dallas Parkway North.
Now all our friends to the extreme north can have their pie without driving 15 minutes to one of the other locations. Cue Ode to Joy.

Donna Makes Some Serious Pie

It’s no secret that we like pie. We like good pie in virtually every delicious flavor. This is why when we stumbled into Donna’s Pie House Café we were happily met by Jim and Donna Benedict who offer up not only delicious, and beautiful pies, but also some really good burgers, salads, soups and sandwiches.
Originally called Rosebud’s, the couple rebranded their restaurant to avoid confusion that they might be a tea room. Gone are all the nifty gifts in the front display. The total revamp now features what Donna does best – pies. Continue reading
