iHeartMedia Dallas announced today a new comprehensive multi-platform broadcast agreement with The Dallas Mavericks. Beginning today, 97.1 The Eagle (KEGL) will become the official flagship station for all Dallas Mavericks games. Under the new broadcast agreement, Dallas Mavericks basketball will also be available via live stream on iHeartRadio.com and the app.

By now most have heard about the exciting new restaurant in The Village by Junior Borges, Meridian. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and word of mouth keeps them pretty much packed every night. Weekend reservations through resy are usually booked up one to two weeks in advance, but walk-ins can arrive early for happy hour and pony up to one of the 10 seats at the bar. Happy Hour runs from 4:30p-6p Tuesday through Friday and there are some great options at reduced prices, as well as the full menu available.

Kate Weiser produces gorgeous chocolates year-round, but Halloween is a special time for her talents to shine. Known for her intricately hand-painted bonbons, candy bars and seasonal goodies, Weiser has produced a batch of Halloween-themed delights, including chocolate pumpkins, chocolate skulls, butterfingers (emphasis on “fingers”) and even some delicious eyeballs.
These items are available at Kate Weiser’s flagship Trinity Groves store, all Central Market locations, and 25 Neiman Marcus stores around the country. Each is also available to purchase online. Quantities are limited, so be sure to secure your favorites before they’re gone.

Located at 2816 Fairmount Street, Firebird Fowl is now open with a menu devoted to giving classic dishes a unique Texas Twist. Prepare for a culinary adventure with a menu that features lean and healthier proteins like Chicken and Turkey as well as ranch-to-table Duck, Emu, Ostrich and Texas Quail. Overseeing the kitchen will be Executive Chef Ben Smallman, who most recently led the culinary team at Eataly Dallas and was the man in charge of the menus at both I Trulli and Il Ristoro del Cinghiale in New York City.
