Dog Haus Hits the Road in New DFW Mobile Restaurant

The Dog Haus team and local franchisee Kirk Hermansen have put the brand’s kick-ass experience on wheels and is ready to take it for a spin. 

On Sept. 20, Dog Haus’ very first food truck will make its debut and will be cruisin’ around Dallas-Fort Worth, making it even easier for locals to discover what The Absolute Würst is all about. The 23-foot food truck features a full kitchen that’ll enable Dog Haus to serve its acclaimed menu, all over the metropolitan area. When the new food truck rolls up, it’ll bring the full Dog Haus experience.

New on Greenville: Ngon Vietnamese Open With Limited Take-Out

After a decade in the restaurant business, Carol Nguyen wanted to open her first Vietnamese restaurant on Lower Greenville serving the food from her upbringing in Ha Noi and food from her favorite street vendors that she loves to eat. She was inspired to open Ngon when she wasn’t able to find the same culinary experiences and tastes of home in the Dallas area. Full of greenery, the modern and bright restaurant officially opens in early September at 1907 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75206 (the old Shiva space).

Chef Chin Opens in Legacy Hall For Some Hot Ramen Action

Chef Chin’s Hibachi & Ramen will open its first location on February 18th in Legacy Hall, located at 7800 Windrose Ave. in Plano. The hibachi and ramen kitchen will offer a unique twist on both Japanese traditions, blending the best of both art forms to create a craveable dining destination in a fast-casual setting. 

This will be the second concept for Chef Chin Liang who opened Hōru Sushi Kitchen at Legacy Hall in September 2019 to much success. Liang’s culinary beginnings were as a hibachi chef, before eventually transitioning to the world of ramen and ultimately landing a position as Executive Ramen Chef at Ajisen Ramen. While he trained to become a sushi chef, he maintained a respect for hibachi and ramen. Continue reading

Tacodeli Warms Our Hearts and Bellies

Tacodeli, the Austin-born taqueria by chef/founder Roberto Espinosa and partner Eric Wilkerson, opened its second Dallas location in December at The Hill Shopping Center (corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Central Expressway).

The fast-casual neighborhood restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch, offering a menu of more than 40 made-from-scratch tacos with fresh ingredients – many of which are organic and locally sourced.
