In just a matter of days, Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar will reintroduce its legendary burgers, famous Cheddar Fries and great drinks to the city of Plano.

On Monday, July 31, the new location at 4901 West Park Blvd., just east of Preston Rd. in Plano, will kick off the grand opening festivities at 10 a.m.with an official ribbon-cutting – and 6 lb. burger-cutting. Continue reading

Portland Based Thirsty Lion Opening in Irving, Colony

Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill, a Portland, Oregon-based restaurant concept known for its from-scratch cooking and seasonal menus with fresh and local ingredients and extensive craft beer menu, announced today that it will be opening its first Texas location in late September at the upcoming Irving Music Factory next to the Irving Convention Center.

Since opening its first location in Portland, Oregon, Thirsty Lion has quickly expanded into Arizona and Colorado and says that moving to Texas was an easy decision given its great business climate, dynamic cultural offerings, and established reputation as a sports and retail mecca. “We’re thrilled to be opening our first Texas location in Irving. Where to Celebrate Hot Fudge Sundae Day

Today is National Hot Fudge Sundae Day, and what better way to celebrate than with a side of prime rib? Lawry’s has a pretty terrific one with a cooling history.

The storied sundae was introduced at Lawry’s original Beverly Hills location and is served with fudge from fellow storied California icon, C.C. Brown’s Ice Cream Parlor. Lawry’s purchased the fudge recipe after the beloved Hollywood Blvd parlor closed after 90 years in business. For more than two decades, Lawry’s has preserved C.C. Brown’s rich sundae legacy + serves the treat tableside with nuts, whipped cream, and of course, the original C.C. Brown’s Hot Fudge. Go for an entire stack and a pot of coffee for a more extreme perpetual motion. Dog Haus Opening July 22nd in Richardson

Dog Haus, the celebrated craft casual concept known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers and one-of-a-kind creations, will open its next franchise location in Richardson on July 22. Located at 744 S. Central, in the Richardson Restaurant Park, this will be franchisee Ron Ryan’s first location with the brand, which was founded in 2010 by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and André Vener to recapture the nostalgic childhood experience of eating a hot dog.
