Pecan Lodge Has Insane Weekend And Joins Our Top Five List For BBQ In Dallas
Pecan Lodge has been one of our go-to spots for BBQ in Dallas since their debut at the Dallas Farmers Market. Owned by Diane and Justin Fourton, the duo has been busy making their mark on the BBQ landscape one rib at a time. And damn are those ribs tasty.
Recently the Fourton’s were featured on the Food Network slice of insanity, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. Chefs At the Dallas Farmers Market

Last week food enthusiasts were entertained by chef Jason Weaver of Texas Spice at the new Dallas Omni. You may recall Weaver from his days at the Adolphus French Room.
Coming up this weekend find Tre Wilcox of Marquee Grill fame as he schools his audience on the finer points of Spring cookery. More than likely he will be bringing his fresh fare from his restaurant which is chockfull of fresh veggies and seafood. Continue reading

The little BBQ Mecca is located in Shed Two at the Dallas Farmers Market and serves up some remarkable brisket, sausage, burnt ends and something they call a Hot Mess, which is a divine confluence of a giant smoked sweet potato crowned with brisket.
