Legacy West will host its 5th Annual Fat Tuesday Parade on February 17, bringing a festive yet family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration to Plano. The evening will be led by the Townview Big D Band and will feature live music, entertainment, and community gathering throughout the property. The event is free to attend, and guests are encouraged to reserve space in advance via Eventbrite.

Darna, a Euro-Mediterranean Market located in Legacy West, has officially launched their breakfast and brunch menu, further enhancing its delicious range of offerings for the West Plano scene.
The breakfast and brunch menu will include offerings artisanally-crafted by Chef Ameer and Chef Yaser Khalaf, a notable Dallas restaurateur and revolutionary force in the restaurant industry. In addition to the brunch menu, guests will also be able to enjoy a plethora of options for every meal.

Darna Euro-Mediterranean Market is bringing an immersive, cross-cultural culinary journey like no other to Legacy West this fall.
A celebration of the shops, cafés, street vendors and bazaars that attract people of all ages and cultures to the shores of the Mediterranean, Darna – meaning “Our House” in Arabic – will immerse its guests in a land draped in history and culture. From Spanish meat boards, French pastries, and Italian and Turkish flatbreads to Greek Souvlaki, Moroccan Tagines and Lebanese Mezze, a culinary adventure as wide as the Mediterranean Sea awaits.
Once inside Darna’s doors, guests will be immediately transported to an authentic Mediterranean market. An explosion of colors, patterns, smells and sounds will blend together varied cultures and traditions, resulting in an experience so real, you might momentarily forget you’re still in North Texas.

Located inside the center of Legacy West’s new department store, Neighborhood Goods, Prim and Proper is a full service bar and restaurant offering retail shoppers drinks, sandwiches, salads, and other hors d’oeuvres as they take a break from stuffing their bags trendy fashions and accessories.
Neighborhood Goods itself is an innovative concept, bringing to life an array of brands that once only were available for purchase online. It’s very much what Instagram would be like if it had a storefront. The plates and drinks at Prim and Proper are also arranged and designed in an aesthetically pleasing, Instagram-ready fashion. Plano’s booming Legacy West development will soon be home to one of the most highly anticipated new dining destinations in all of North Texas: KĀI, an original Japanese-themed concept from the legendary Lombardi family.
The family-run restaurant company recently began construction on its first KĀI location at 7301 Windrose Ave. in Plano, in anticipation of a late summer grand opening. This is the third Lombardi Family Concepts restaurant to open in Legacy West – the most of any restaurant group in the development. Taverna opened in November 2017, and Toulouse opened March 2018. “Gourmet, artisanal, natural, the way nature intended.” That’s the philosophy at locally owned Berrynaked, which is taking its artful, trend-setting popsicles northward with the June opening of a flagship location in Richardson. The grand opening event, benefiting the American Heart Association, is set for Saturday, June 17. Berrynaked also just signed with the massive new Legacy Hall at Legacy West in Plano, with plans to open its stall in early September.
Building on the success of Berrynaked’s Inwood Village location in Dallas, the new Richardson shop will be the first to premiere a brand new Berrynaked product: a line of superfood-focused purée bowls categorized as “Soulful” along with a line of “Sinful” dessert purée bowls. Continue reading

Legacy West’s grand opening celebrations are scheduled for Friday, June 2-Sunday, June 4, 2017. The celebration weekend will feature live entertainment from top national and local musical acts as well as food and drink tastings, special store discounts and a “sneak peek” first look inside Legacy Hall, the 55,000 square foot food hall.
