2013 Savor Dallas Wrap Up

whiteby Steven Doyle

Another session of Savor Dallas has been tucked under our belts, and formidable host Jim White is already at work planning the 2014 version. This year White seemed more at ease with his progeny, having planned what can only be described as a perfect series of events that lasted nearly an entire week.

The smattering of events scattered a wider path this year, having touched on new areas of Dallas including the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, up-and-comer Trinity Groves, and even the Arboretum. Each spot White visited he left a pot of gold as his legacy for this St Patrick’s Day weekend.   Continue reading

Savor Dallas is one of the premier food and wine events in Texas, and enjoyed each year by literally thousands of enthusiasts. We are bringing you some images from another successful year at Savor Dallas. This year Jim White and Vicki Briley-White were in rare form offering events across the city tht benefited a variety of groups including Les Dames d’Escoffier and other worthwhile charitable groups.

Savor Arts District Stroll

by Katie Minchew

The event started at 5:00pm, not allowing for us worker bees to arrive on time. We raced in and registered at the Meyerson, ready to mix and mingle with our fellow Dallasites.       Continue reading
