When you walk in you are greeted by very nice folks and if you’re fortunate, Kevin will be there so let him know I sent you in. It is a very clean and bright place.

White Rhino Announces 10th Store Opening with 10 Cent Coffee

White Rhino Coffee was founded in 2007, when founder Chris Parvin opened the first location in Cedar Hill. He wanted to give his community a place to gather over great coffee and connect with their neighbors. That desire still stands today, as White Rhino Coffee continues to expand across the DFW metroplex and prepares to open its tenth location on September 22 in Frisco, marking the first shop in Collin County. To celebrate, White Rhino will offer 10-cent drip coffee at all 10 locations on September 22. So, even if customers are not located near the new Frisco store, they can still participate in the occasion.

Mr. Wok in Plano is Sadly Permanently Closed

A tragic fire struck Plano’s Mr. Wok back in 2019 and the restaurant closed with a quick promise to re-open.

You may remember Mr. Wok as the place in the Dallas area to order the best Peking Duck. Also, the restaurant served an admirabl;e Beggar’s Chicken. Both dishes were iconic and had patrons ordering the dishes days in advance to ensure their portion. The duck was simply that good. Check out our write-up here.

National Lobster Day is Monday, Sept. 25, and you might not think of celebrated steakhouse III Forks as being the most appropriate choice for the succulent shellfish. You’d be wrong: III Forks offers lobster on its regular menu in four vastly different preparations, each one delectable in its own right.

In the Beginnings section of the menu, you can’t take the Lone Star State out of this lobster dish: Chicken Fried Lobster (pictured) features bites of breaded and fried lobster, tossed in a sundried tomato butter.
