Postino WineCafe Coming to Dallas in Early 2021

Upward Projects – the restaurant group known for its cult-like following and artful restoration of historically relevant buildings in fun, funky neighborhoods – is bringing its popular Postino WineCafé to Dallas for the first time. Scheduled to open in Spring of 2021 inside a revitalized 3,500 square foot space at 2647 Main Street in the heart of Deep Ellum, this 110-seat restaurant, including a spacious 50-seat outdoor patio, welcomes guests with Postino’s warm, come-as-you-are culture and eclectic design.

Sharing a standalone building with Merit Coffee, Postino collaborated with progressive developers, Asana Partners, and designers XAN Creative to handcraft this new neighborhood hangout where ‘Drinking Wine At Lunch Is Not a Crime’.

Fazoli’s Enters North Texas Market

A college-town favorite is making its way to Dallas-Fort Worth. Fazoli’s is set to open three locations in North Texas late next year.

The fast-casual Italian concept’s expansion to Dallas-Fort Worth comes as part of an area development agreement between Fazoli’s CEO Carl Howard and Sajib Singha of Singha Group.  Singha owns several Captain D’s, Dairy Queen, Golden Chick, Papa John’s and Schlotzsky’s locations throughout Dallas Fort Worth.

Eataly Dallas To Open on December 9, 2020, at 12PM

Eataly, the authentic Italian marketplace, announced today it will  open its first Texas location in Dallas on December 9, 2020, at 12 p.m. Dallas will be the Italy-based  company’s seventh U.S. location and forty-first location worldwide. The 46,000 square foot Italian food  emporium is located in the NorthPark Center and will consist of 10,000 local and Italian products, three  restaurants, and one cooking school (which will be virtual to start) all inspired by the diversity of Italy’s  regional cuisines.

Oak’d Brings Cozy, Hearty Barbecue to Old Town Shopping Center

The hotly anticipated Oak’d BBQ is now open. The Central Texas-inspired barbecue joint offers indulgent delights like burnt ends, sausage, chicken and wagyu brisket in a cozy, home-like setting.

Oak’d was originally slated to open this spring, but was pushed back due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. They officially opened earlier this month, with radio personality Kellie Raspberry and husband Allen Evans as investors.
