Dallas, prepare for a deal changing club and restaurant just days away from premiering on the Dallas scene. From the hearts and minds of restaurant owner and investor Brad  Woy and uber cocktalier and bar owner Eddie Campbell (also known as Lucky to fans) comes Clover Club which is a send-up of the original Bellevue-Stratford Hotel’s Clover Club from the late 1800’s Philadelphia social club which attracted movers and shakers of the day, including moneyed bankers and intellects of the time not too unlike the Midtown Manhattan Algonquin which also attracted a similar heady crowd. Al Biernat’s North Opens Oct 18

Legendary Dallas restaurateur Al Biernat has finally found a second site he deemed worthy of carrying his name.

Al Biernat’s North is only days away from opening its doors at 5251 Spring Valley Road, just east of the Dallas Tollway and north of the Galleria. The site, previously home to Del Frisco’s Steakhouse, has undergone $4 million in renovations to fulfill Biernat’s vision for the restaurant.

“I’ve wanted to open a second location for years, but I just needed to find the perfect space,” said Biernat. “When I heard this site was available, I knew we had to have it. It’s ideally situated to cater to our loyal clientele living in the northern suburbs, and it will give us a wonderful platform to serve a new group of guests that are not as familiar with our brand.” Continue reading

In A Brilliant Move, SER Is Celebrating Valentine’s Day Friday Through Sunday

SĒR Steak + Spirits located atop the Hilton Anatole, is starting Valentine’s Day early this year. With its 360 degree views of the sparkling Dallas skyline, SĒR will be celebrating the day of love Friday through Sunday. Each evening will feature a decadent tasting menu prepared by Chef Anthony Van Camp.  Additionally, SĒR will also be offering a selection of favorites from the regular menu over the weekend. Master entertainer, W.T. Greer, will entertain guests on the baby grand piano in the dining room.

After dinner, the Bubble Lounge will feature exquisite champagnes by the glass and a lavish array of elegant desserts. Chocolate fountains surrounding a six-foot ice sculpture will be the centerpiece of the room, while romantic sounds from a white baby grand piano will add to the romantic and intimate setting of the space.   Continue reading
