Sanjh, an Elevated Restaurant Celebrating the Many Cuisines of India, to Open in Las Colinas Late 2023

Sanjh, an elevated restaurant paying homage to 3,500 years of rich historic Indian cuisines, will open in Las Colinas in late 2023. Sanjh is the product of two experienced hospitality and restaurant industry veterans, Sanjay Joshi and Prob Arora. Sanjh will be located at 5228 N O’Connor Blvd Suite 126, Irving, TX 75039.

Sanjay Joshi, a Dallas entrepreneur, will lead the restaurant group as CEO. With experience across several industries, both in hospitality and not, Joshi’s experience is vital in Sanjh and the future of the Tivona Group, the hospitality group behind Sanjh. Meanwhile, Sanjh’s vice president of sales and operations, Prob Arora, is no stranger to the Dallas culinary scene. Best known for his concept, The Saffron House, where he was a co-owner and general manager during the 14 years that it was open in Addison, the restaurant was lauded for its quality food and extraordinary service with a design to match.

Tupelo Honey to Open in Las Colinas

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar – the Carolina-inspired restaurant serving “mouthwatering southern-comfort fare” is opening its second DFW location next Tuesday, June 13.

Born out of downtown Asheville, NC, Tupelo Honey is bringing its “gracious food, southern roots” motto to Las Colinas after establishing itself in the area 5 years ago at The Star in Frisco. The new Las Colinas restaurant boasts a large dog-friendly patio and an eclectic southern interior where vintage comfort meets clean modern lines.

In our long journey to discover the ideal Indian-style restaurant in the Dallas area we were directed this week to yet another offering in the Las Colinas area. Irving and the surrounding region is a hot bed for delicious Desi cuisine. This week we ventured to one called Bombay Sizzlers, now located at 397 E. Las Colinas Blvd. We say now because they recently moved from a freestanding location nearby that was razed to make way for yet another service station. Box Car Bandits at Water Street Oct 20th

Water Street to Feature Restaurants and Retail in Pedestrian Friendly Landscape

Water Street is a pedestrian-friendly project with 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 316 apartment homes, green space and lake views, all located within walking distance of the DART Rail System, Toyota Music Factory and the landmark Mustangs at Las Colinas.  An impressive variety of pubs, restaurants and foodie destinations are now open or coming soon to Water Street, a mixed-use development on the shores of Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas. These include a popular local pub, a new concept restaurant from a Meso Maya veteran and a made-to-order, liquid nitrogen ice cream shop.

Even customers of the four-legged variety get their own treats with Homegrown Hounds, a nonprofit doggie deli and bakery benefiting a local dog rescue organization. Continue reading

The popular neighborhood restaurant known for sourcing its flavors, ingredients and ideas straight from local farms, will celebrate its grand opening by donating 50 percent of the proceeds today to Farmers Assisting Returning Military (F.A.R.M.). Continue reading
