One of Dallas’ most revered holiday traditions, Holiday Tea at The Adolphus, is returning to The French Room on Wednesday, November 2 – Sunday, January 8.Reservations are available every week from Wednesday – Sunday (except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day) from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.Reservations go live at on Tuesday, October 4.
With pastries created by Executive Pastry Chef Ruben Toraño, guests will enjoy the time-honored afternoon tradition of tea at The French Room, but with a holiday twist.
The most pie-ous fundraiser of the year is happening October 17-27 when the third annual Piehole Project’s pie auction takes place online. This year’s auction features 40 unique pies from North Texas’ top chefs and bakers who will create and donate pies to raise funds for culinary scholarships. Piehole Project founders Alison Matis and Cheryl Weis expect the event, which has expanded to include 17 Austin chefs, to raise $40,000 for students.
The White Rock Lake Foundation (WRLF) announced a sparking sponsor line up for their upcoming fundraiser, The Jewel of Dallas Gala. A 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the WRLF is instrumental in presenting the case for the maintenance and improvement of White Rock Lake, also referred to as “The Jewel of Dallas.” The fundraiser is set to take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at The Granada Theater on Greenville Avenue, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. The Board of Directors and Presenting Sponsor, Oncor Electric, invite Dallasites to join them for an unforgettable evening full of celebration, fundraising, and entertainment.
After a two-year hiatus,The French Room (Adolphus Hotel)will open its dinner doors for a limited time with their ‘Be Our Guest Chef Series’. The collaboration features chefs and artisans who will showcase their craft paired with the timeless French Room experience, taking place on select days in October, November, and January.

Tacodeli is featuring two limited time drinks available now through November 4. The cult-classic, Mexico City-inspired “farm to taco” concept is featuring a seasonal agua fresca as well as a specialty cocktail in partnership with Tito’s Vodka. A portion of the proceeds from the Tito’s cocktail will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (in support of MS150 Team Tacodeli and Team Tito’s).
Toussaint Brasserie, the approachably chic French-inspired restaurant and bar in the Renaissance Saint Elm Dallas Downtown Hotel has added fall dishes and drinks to the dinner menu for the cooler season.
The restaurant offers ingredient-driven, decadent dishes with the fall menu items highlighting seasonal ingredients throughout. Executive Chef Shaun Hinson says of the seasonal menu, “We wanted to incorporate ingredients that really embrace the cooler weather and seasonality here for Dallas.
