Trinity Groves Announces New Concept Nitro Burger

The team behind the West Dallas restaurant district, Trinity Groves Restaurant Group, is thrilled to announce that their newest concept, Nitro Burger will open its doors on Monday, November 28. Located in the former Resto Gastro Bistro space, Nitro Burger is a futuristic burger concept developed by Trinity Groves CEO Julian Rodarte.

Nitro Burger will feature over the top tableside liquid nitrogen booze milkshakes, USDA certified Black Angus ground brisket burger patties with mix and match flavors, in-house made sauces, lobster tots, hand cut fries and more. Nitro Burger seeks to fulfill the indulgent desires of everyone with dietary requirements & restrictions. All burgers will come with options to substitute vegan patties, gluten free buns, Martin’s potato buns, lettuce wraps and vegan cheese.

National Cookie Day is coming up on Sunday, December 4. Popular in the citrus-growing regions along Italy’s Amalfi coast for more than a century, the digestif Limoncello makes for the perfect holiday gift. The liqueur is second in popularity only to Campari in Italy, and is a refined and genteel way to end a great meal.

Now is the time to make the elixir.  It is so simple to make, pretty much anyone of drinking age can pull this off.

Dallas Restaurant Legend Larry Levine Opens Loop 9 BBQ

Loop 9 BBQ, a new restaurant concept featuring prime brisket and other connoisseur-level barbecued meats, now offers full catering services.  Loop 9 BBQ will soon be one of the first restaurants to open in Grand Prairie’s growing 172-acre entertainment center, EpicCentral.  

City officials behind EpicCentral turned to Larry Lavine to bring the perfect barbecue restaurant to the new development.  In 1975, Lavine founded Chili’s with its first location in a converted postal station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas.  Today, Chili’s has more than 1600 locations.  The veteran restaurateur knows his Texas barbecue.  More recently, Lavine shifted away from the mega-chain format to found Ten 50 BBQ in Richardson, Texas, in 2014.  The restaurant immediately drew serious barbecue fans.

Crossbuck BBQ & Smokehouse Serves Up Pre-Order Thanksgiving Menu

One of Dallas’s most famous Pitmasters is offering a special Texas treat this Thanksgiving. Tim McLaughlin and his team at Crossbuck BBQ and Smokehouse will be smoking turkeys (with gravy), hams, prime rib and briskets in Texas fashion…low n’ slow with a blend of post oak, hickory and fruit wood smoke.

The fine-dining chef turned Pitmaster will also be serving homestyle sides including green bean casserole, scalloped and cheesy potato casserole, roasted and smoked potatoes, Vermont cheddar mac n’ cheese, and creamy hominy along with Crossbuck’s fluffy house rolls (sold by the baker’s dozen).  All pan sides will be fully cooked, chilled, and ready for you to easily reheat and serve in amounts designed for 10 to 20 people.

Escondido Preston-Royal Tex-Mex Patio Opens Today

Escondido Tex-Mex Patio, the highly anticipated restaurant from Jon Alexis, is set to open to the public on Monday, November 14

Located at 5950 Royal Lane A, Dallas, TX 75230 in the southwest corner previously occupied by Ruggeri’s, Alexis and his new restaurant group, Imperial Fizz, are bringing Tex-Mex back to Preston Royal for the first time since the 2019 tornado. Escondido will open for dinner seven days a week with lunch and weekend brunch coming soon.
