III Forks Does Texas Chicken Fried Steak Day

You may be aware, Texas Chicken Fried Steak Day is October 26th. We will be digging up plenty of information on the subject, but here is the first restaurant to add one to their menu.

Chicken Fried Steak is a quintessential Texas dish, but it’s not something you often find on the menus at upscale steakhouses. III Forks, one of North Texas’ most iconic steakhouses, offers a twist on the traditional comfort food. The restaurant will celebrate National Chicken Fried Steak Day, which falls on Monday, Oct. 26, with its Chicken Fried Filet Mignon. The dish, which debuted on the menu earlier this year, sells for $20.

Miss Twin Peaks has a Huge Following and has Gone Virtual for 2020

For the first time in brand history, Twin Peaks’ annual Miss Twin Peaks contest is going virtual, and the ultimate sports lodge is giving fans the power to crown this year’s winner.

For the Miss Twin Peaks competition, each Twin Peaks location has the opportunity to have one Twin Peaks Girl represent and compete for the title and a $5,000 prize. Previously, this competition has been held in cities across the country with a panel of judges who determine the winner. However, due to the pandemic, Twin Peaks’ live Miss Twin Peaks summer contest was canceled.

Palmer’s Hot Chicken – the much-anticipated and authentic, counter-service with full-bar Nashville hot chicken concept will open their doors on Monday, October 19 for lunch and dinner, dine-in or to-go. Delivery on most major third-party delivery apps will begin 30 days post opening.

Located at the northeast corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road at 6465 East Mockingbird Lane in East Dallas’ historic Hillside Village shopping center, Palmer’s Hot Chicken was created by Texas native and Nashville-bred, Palmer Fortune.

One of our very favorite restaurants in Dallas is Truluck’s. This is the place known for pretty awesome steaks, but especially their stone crab. For those unfamiliar, stone crab is this beautiful claw which can be quite large, massive actually. Dallas’ Mockingbird Station Brings Community Together for Station Fair

Dallas’ shopping and dining destination Mockingbird Station keeps the Texas State Fair’s spirit alive with its own pop-up fair taking place on October 16–18 in the Mockingbird Station shopping center.

Since 1886, the Texas State Fair has brought the DFW community together. The Texas State Fair was initially canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic but has now turned into a limited drive-through fair. In the spirit of the fair’s long-standing tradition, Mockingbird Station is excited to host a three-day fair activation called, The Mockingbird Station Fair, which offers Dallasites a fun way to come together through carnival-inspired décor and games.
