Tequila Codigo, launched in late 2016 with the support in the form of country icon George Strait, who is an investor and brand ambassador. Some may think this to be gimmicky, but quite the opposite. Strait has passion for the project, and the tequila is quite remarkable as we found at a tasting recently in Oak Cliff at Veracruz Cafe, which plans a series of tastings and even wine events in coming months charge by a fairly new co-owner, Nico Ponce. Tacos+Tunes at Local Moto Sept 28th

What could be more delicious than Tacos and Tunes? How about both. Tacos and Tunes (T+T) is hosting its its September show at Local Moto + Provisions and will be feature local artists A.J. Legrand, Love & War and Cameron Matthew Ray. Tacos will be provided by El Taco Express.

T+T is a “house show” style concert series. The goal is to remove the barriers between artists and their audience. They provide a space where music lovers can genuinely connect with artists as well as local businesses and creatives who care about the city… all while stuffing their faces with delicious tacos from local taquerias.

We have discussed this marvelous pub located in Plano for some years now, Holy Grail Pub. They serve many favorites, besides a great selection of beer and whiskey, including the absolute best monte cristo and bowl of red.

Chef Shimond Bradley, who re-joined the Holy Grail Pub in May 2018 after a seven year absence has elevated the menu with creative New American cuisine while improving the celebrated dishes that have earned the pub multiple accolades for best bar food in Dallas and Plano. After stints at Casa Rubia in Dallas and Flora and Secco in Richmond, VA, Bradley has returned to the Holy Grail Pub with extensive knowledge of gastronomic science and culinary presentation to create a menu of approachable, quality food.
