Sixty Vines Opening in Dallas April 16

sixty-vines-office.jpg

Sixty Vines – the nationally recognized wine-centric restaurant – will begin transporting Dallasites to Napa/Sonoma Wine Country when it opens its doors on Monday, April 16.

The new restaurant, located at 500 Crescent Court, Ste. 160, will celebrate its grand opening from 5-11 p.m. on Monday. It will feature an indoor/outdoor design that feels fresh, lush, and purposeful. Naturally placed grape vines, wine barrels, and harvest tools create an ambiance similar to a vineyard tasting room. The open kitchen acts as a stage for the chefs to put on a show and enables guests to watch, hear, and smell dishes that are being prepared before they reach the table. Continue reading

Four Shuck and Jive Greenville Break-Ins Total Over $20k in Losses, You Can Help

oyster1by Steven Doyle

Shuck and Jive is a really cool local hang out. I have personally made my way there many times over the years and always have a good meal, a very cold beer and a “Cheers” type of an afternoon each time with spirited conversation with the bartenders and patrons alike.

There are times when we must pay back for our good fortune and great times, and today I am calling for just such an occasion. In the last month Shuck and Jive on Greenville has been burglarized four times. Four times with a total loss of over $20,000. That is a huge poke in the eye for a small restaurant like Shuck and Jive.      Continue reading

How Good Is The In-N-Out Burger?

In-N-Out Burger

by Steven Doyle

How good are the In-N-Out burgers that are about to sweep through the Dallas Fort Worth area? Several of us on the Crave staff have enjoyed the burger in the past and will of course be doing some side-by-side comparisons this coming week, but we recall back in January a particularly nasty incident involving LA Lakers Ron Artest and LA Clippers Blake Griffin that brought the family owned burger chain to the headlines.  Continue reading
