Foxtrot Market to Host Virtual Thanksgiving Wine Tasting

Foxtrot Market, the modern-day convenience store with two locations in Dallas (Uptown and Snider Plaza in the Park Cities) is hosting a virtual Thanksgiving wine tasting on Tuesday, November 24 at 8 p.m. 

The virtual wine tasting will feature three favorite Thanksgiving wines hand-picked by Foxtrot’s in-house sommelier, Dylan Melvin, who will lead the attendees through the tasting via Zoom. The wines featured are Maison Noir Wines “Other People’s Pinot Noir”, Sandhi Central Coast Chardonnay, and Populis Wabi-Sab Red Blend. Ticket price: $83. Hai Hospitality Names Ariana Quant Exec Pastry Chef Of Uchi Concepts

Hai Hospitality today announced the appointment of Ariana Quant to Executive Pastry Chef of all Uchi restaurants, a new position for the company, effective immediately.  In this new role, Quant will lead pastry recipe development and oversee the pastry departments of all Uchi locations, collaborating with each market’s Chef de Cuisine.

Hot Chicks Nashville Hot Chicken Prepares to Bring its Texas Twist on Hot Chicken to Plano

After much anticipation, Hot Chicks Nashville Hot Chicken is set to open their doors to the Plano community in early December. Located at 1885 Dallas Pkwy #300, the emerging fast-casual restaurant will offer scratch-made, Halal, dairy-free, peanut free hot chicken with heat levels varying from none to “Hot AF.” Hot Chicks will only use fresh ingredients.

Crinkle Cut Fries will be hand cut daily, pickles, Cole slaw and all sauces will be made in house and of course, the chicken is fresh, not frozen. Bread will be baked and delivered daily from a local artisan bakery. The chicken is Halal, dairy and peanut free in hopes of being more inclusive. The menu also boasts a grilled hot chicken option for the health-conscious and gluten-free consumer.
