Marcus Paslay’s Clay Pigeon has unveiled a new seasonal menu and hired Andrew Dilda as executive chef, bringing the former Reata chef back to Fort Worth.
Clay Pigeon’s new menu features a focused selection of small plates like PEI Mussels and Tuna Crudo; the Roasted Beet Salad and the Wedge Salad with duck confit; shareables such as Smoked Salmon Dip and Lobster Rolls; and entrées that include Braised Lamb Shank, three prime angus steaks and the popular CP Burger, now available daily. The AT&T Performing Arts Center announced the 2018 season of its distinctive speakers series #hearhere. From poetry to performance and beyond – with #hearhere you’ll experience the radical imaginations, passion, humor and knowledge of iconic personalities who shape the way we experience our world and each other.
This fourth season of #hearhere begins with the return engagement of the astrophysicist and popular TV science expert Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson on January 18, as a non-subscription optional add-on. PBS icon Tavis Smiley is next, on February 25, with his theatrical experience DEATH OF A KING, featuring pianist Marcus Roberts. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak appears on March 15 followed by Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends on April 14, Rob Lowe on April 25 and Rita Moreno on May 6. Dee Lincoln who has been called “The Queen of Steaks” is going back to her fine dining roots with her newest venture Dee Lincoln Prime located at The Star in Frisco. The 8,000 square foot stunner will officially open to the public Friday, December 1.
Dee Lincoln Prime is an upscale steakhouse with Executive Chef TJ Lengnick serving steaks from award-winning and premier purveyor of prime meat, Allen Brothers. Lengnick who’s resume includes working in impressive high-volume, high-end kitchens such as Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Stephan Pyles, Jasper’s and Shinisei says, “I was blown away when Dee asked me to join her team. I feel I’ve been training for this my entire career. On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. “Human Rights Day DFW will encourage us to carve out December 10th each year, to think and talk about what human rights means to each of us,” says Sanjeeb Samanta, Leader of Global Customer Support Operations at Texas Instruments and the HRI board member who conceived the event. “On this day, we’ll come together as a community to show we care for those who have suffered human rights abuse.” Continue reading
