Uptown Mexican Sugar Delivers on Sabor

This week we checked in at the Uptown version of Mexican Sugar. Throughout the years we have enjoyed this restaurant but had to make the trek to Plano to sample this delicious menu, but now they stretch out a bit to bring you their special brand of Mexican cuisine along with amazing cocktails.

Mexican Sugar, known for its innovative approach to Mexican cuisine is located at 2355 Olive Street #155, near the popular intersection of McKinney and Olive.

Mexican Sugar to Open in Uptown

Mexican Sugar, known for its innovative approach to Mexican cuisine, today announced the grand opening of its third restaurant on May 16. The new restaurant is the first in Uptown Dallas, located at 2355 Olive Street #155, near the popular intersection of McKinney and Olive.

Ida Claire  Ida whips up a delicious Wood Grilled Atlantic Salmon, served with blistered okra and broccolini, Fresno peppers, spiced yogurt and sesame. 

Mexican Sugar  The Latin restaurant’s seafood dishes include Mesquite Grilled Salmon, served with Latin corn succotash and creamy poblano corn, Lump Crab Enchiladas, served with poblano crema, roasted corn pico and queso fresco and Pescado Tacos, served with adobo marinated white fish, avocado spread, kale, jicama slaw, pickled red onions, mojo vinaigrette, lima crema and habanero mango pico on hibiscus tortillas.
