It’s been a fruitful 11 years for Chef Jon Bonnell, owner of his namesake restaurant, Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine. Today the chef celebrates his anniversary of the restaurant in grand style, and will be pouring from his mammoth bottle until it runs dry.
Bonnell is native to Fort Worth with a rich family history. He graduated from Vanderbilt with the notion of being a school teacher. After a few years of teaching math and science, the chef took off to study at the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. Q&A With FT33 GM and Sommelier Ryan Tedder
We met with Ryan Tedder, the sommelier and general manager for FT33 which opens this Saturday, October 13, 2012. Tedder spent time at Stephan Pyles and more recently at Grace in Fort Worth, and is a good friend of Matt McCallister’s who is the chef-owner of the restaurant FT33. Five Sixty Introduces New Brunch
Yesterday Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck had a media gathering to show off their new brunch menu. You know how much we appreciate our brunches, and this is pretty much a table full of fun. Think dim sum meets breakfast. The brunch is made up of plenty of tastes just as you would find in a traditional dim sum setting. However, instead of trucking around your meal in a metal cart the dishes are prepared and brought to your table as they are prepared. This means the dishes will be staggered, keeping everything fresh.
The menu is bright, and the word fun comes to mind as you will agree when you see chef Pat Robertson has planned for your visit. You may buy the dishes individually, or you can choose 5 tastes for $32 or 8 for $42. Continue reading

There are actually less seats available with the added Luna Lounge, which is a comfy space to meet and mingle with custom built banquets accented by handmade chandeliers and filtered through soft mood lighting.
