There are so many fantastic Thai restaurants in Dallas and Fort Worth, and many have super authentic dishes available if you are in the know, or simply ask. However, for a taste of Thailand, and an experience that is truly unforgettable, reach out to the local Buddhist Temple located at 8484 Stults which is off Forest Lane near Central Expressway.    Continue reading

The operas are presented in a rotating repertory schedule with up to seven performances of four different works staged each week. Beau Nash For A Lovely Repast

beau1.jpegby Steven Doyle

For me Beau Nash in the late 80’s was a siren song, a sultry tune tapped out on a grand piano. The cavernous room with hideaways and a bar that left no secret untold. A perfect perch to gaze on the beautifuls that ran rampant in Dallas. The stories are best kept secret, although there is no shame. It was a time of caviar and champagne, celebrated to full contempt in a cherished manner.  Continue reading

stampedeby Steven Doyle

It is National Margarita Day. These foodie holidays can be a bit wearisome, but this is one day I can circle my wagon around. It also happens to fall on Chili Day, which we have provided handily for you to enjoy. But let’s take a look at some specials going on today and a look at our favorites. Because it is a day to celebrate.
