Tesar Hosts ‘Feed the Children’ Benefit at Knife on September 27th

On Wednesday, September 27, Chef John Tesar will host a dinner benefiting Feed The Children, featuring a reception and seated dinner, and other acclaimed guest chefs. This dinner is part of the Celebrity Chef Series campaign and will be held at Knife. The event starts with a reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by a multi-course dinner at 7:00 p.m.

The funds from the dinner will help to deliver semi-tractor trailer loads of disaster relief supplies such as bottled water, food, hygiene items, diapers, and other much-needed essentials to Houston and the surrounding areas.

We Reveal All The Chocolate Secrets

On any given day when driving past the boutiques lining Oak Lawn in Dallas you will spot plenty of activity. There you will discover hot finds on wine or cheese, or possibly even chocolate. This past Sunday we began the edible bucket list for 2012 and made a stop into Chocolate Secrets.

The chocolate shop has somewhat of an identity crisis. It wants to be this cool wine bar that serves up healthy slices of jazz most evenings. Chocolate Secrets also offers some of the best and certainly beautiful chocolate in Dallas. Continue reading

Houndstooth Coffee Opening in North Dallas

Texas-based business Houndstooth Coffee announces their newest cafe location in The Hill Shopping Center in North Dallas, slated to open in fall 2017. Located at 9730 N. Central Expressway, the location is being constructed on property at sustainable home improvement store TreeHouse. The Hill location of Houndstooth Coffee will be the third Dallas cafe and fifth overall.
