Join John Tesar at Knife for Christmas Eve & Day

Knife Italian, Chef John Tesar’s Italian steakhouse concept, is offering a festive Christmas menu, available on December 24th from 5 PM to 10 PM and December 25th from 12 PM to 10 PM. Guests will begin their holiday meal with one of three appetizers: a rich cream of wild mushroom soup made with chestnut oil and tarragon croutons; a winter holiday salad featuring cranberries, walnuts, pears, and blue cheese dressed with a red wine vinaigrette; or bruschetta topped with burrata and caviar.

John Tesar to Host Annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Christmas Eve Dinner

On Christmas Eve, Chef John Tesar will offer his annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner at his new Knife Plano restaurant, at The Shops at Willow Bend. Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian tradition derived from the Roman Catholic custom of celebrating Christmas Eve with a shared meatless meal before the midnight Mass. Since his days at Spoon, Chef Tesar has made this tradition his own by perfectly curating a fish and seafood meal for his guests.

A Special Christmas Eve With Dean Fearing

Fearing’s will celebrate the 2015 holiday season with a special Christmas Eve Dinner to feature three courses of seasonal favorites along with the restaurant’s cherished take-home cookies for Santa.

Christmas Eve festivities will also include à la carte lunch service between 1130am. and 3:30pm on December 24. The restaurant is closed to the public on December 25. The Three-Course Holiday Dinner: 5:00pm to 8:30pm and costs $100 for adults, $30 for children 12 and under. Excludes beverage, tax and gratuity. We typically suggest  those looking for Christmas Day dining to check out the hotels, but note that the Ritz-Carlton is limiting dining to only guests of the hotel that day.   Continue reading →

Mesa Veracruz Coastal Cuisine Offers Special Christmas And New Year’s Eve Dinner

Make reservations at Mesa Veracruz Coastal Cuisine for dinner on Christmas Eve which is a Monday when the restaurant is typically closed. The restaurant will offer a special menu for two for $85 and includes a free bottle of wine. Mesa will also be open Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, and they encourage you to make reservations today.
