Neighborhood Goods itself is an innovative concept, bringing to life an array of brands that once only were available for purchase online. Join Lawry’s this Valentine’s Day

Join Lawry’s this Valentine’s Day for a traditional prime rib dinner for two. The four-course feast includes shrimp cocktail to share, the Original Spinning Bowl Salad and Lawry’s signature roasted prime rib carved tableside with accompaniments including mashed potatoes and a choice of creamed corn or creamed spinach.
An additional entree option of Atlantic salmon with seasonal vegetables is available and each guest will receive a glass of Justin Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon or Sauvignon Blanc. A choice of chocolate covered strawberries or flourless chocolate cake brings the meal to a sweet close.
The Valentine’s Day menu will be offered from Thurs/Feb 14 through Sun/Feb 17 + reservations can be made here.

Oishii In Dallas For Lunch Today
There are certain surprises that we stumble across each day, if we are so lucky. Today was one of those days. I had a rare lunch with a really sweet friend and she chose Oishii on Wycliff in Dallas that is located in the shopping center between the Tollway and Maple. I enjoy my trips to this restaurant, as the menu is vast enough to keep me excited.
We sat at the sushi bar this afternoon catching up on the latest news of the day and she was thumbing through the sushi and sashimi choices. I was looking through the menu fast and furious as I had something particular on my mind for lunch. It was at that moment we both looked up from our menus and said nearly simultaneously — soft shell crab. She said they had the best in town, and I just happened to have a hankering for crab (per usual). Continue reading
